The primary focus of this website has been businesses, or supposed businesses that rip people off. The truth of the matter however, is that there are others online who will rip businesses off as well, so it can go both ways.
Case in point – It is well known that I am a freelance writer and I make my living writing website content to hundreds, if not thousands of websites across the internet including Examiner.com, carsdirect.com and many, many others.

I’m fairly new to Facebook. So after I get registered on the site and start making some buddies online, get a couple of fan pages going and things like that, I start to hear that Facebook is going to begin charging for the people to use the site.
Well, I don’t know enough about Facebook at this point to know whether or not it would be worth my while to pay for using it. Nonetheless I decided to check things out. To this point, the rumors would have me paying anywhere from $3.99 a month to use the site to as much as $50.00 a month. Well, to my way of thinking, $3.99 wouldn’t be all that bad though I’d still rather not pay it. When it comes to paying 50 bucks a month to use it, that’s absolutely out of the question.

As more and more scams become public knowledge from the Nigerian Scammers, I personally stumbled onto one myself when searching for a house on Craigslist.
Craigslist has long been known to be a catalyst for fraudsters to take advantage of people. To their credit, they are working hard at legitimizing the site, and despite the scammers that are prevalent, it is still rich in great deals to be had as long as you are vigilant to “watching your back”.

Over the weekend, I received an email from a man talking about PTC’s and how he was burned in various ways. In several cases (I will mention the names of these sites below) he bought the upgrade Earned substantial sums of money and was either never paid, or he gets paid $2.00 at a time from sites. Understand now, that these PTC’s that he joined cost a significant amount of money to upgrade. At least one of them was in the $300.00 range!
Other sites that he joined, he met the required minimums in order to be paid out as a free member, yet never got any money. So what I have done was to compile this little list to show what you should look out forDon't be a Victim!

The last few years in the US, and in fact many major countries in the Western World have experienced a serious in mortgage foreclosures as it is known in the US, or home repossession as it is known in the UK. Just like anything else though, when there are troubling times afoot for anyone, the predators will be waiting in the corner, ready to pounce on you the first chance they get and attempt to separate you from money that is obviously not plentiful to you or you wouldn’t be in the mess that you are in to begin with.
