Do Your Research Before Buying!
Over the weekend, I received an email from a man talking about PTC’s and how he was burned in various ways. In several cases (I will mention the names of these sites below) he bought the upgrade Earned substantial sums of money and was either never paid, or he gets paid $2.00 at a time from sites. Understand now, that these PTC’s that he joined cost a significant amount of money to upgrade. At least one of them was in the $300.00 range!
Other sites that he joined, he met the required minimums in order to be paid out as a free member, yet never got any money. So what I have done was to compile this little list to show what you should look out for:
1. If
the site claims to pay out substantial sums of money, ask around BEFORE you
upgrade to see how others are getting paid, if at all.
2. As
a general rule of thumb, most advertisers that purchase this sort of traffic
will be those that are offering something that EVERYONE is likely to use. If it
is a product or service that a limited group of people will be using, then
chances are no one will buy this type of advertising. Understand now that this
type of advertising is effective, when used properly and with the proper
products and services. Marlene and I operate several such sites, with Traffic n
Clicks being our most prominent. The payouts/Buy-ins are nothing like the sites
listed below however, but then that’s probably why they’re not able to pay
their people…..
3. Don’t
take a sites word for it that they paid out anything. ASK PEOPLE. The site
operator can tell you absolutely anything that he wants to!
Now, understand that these sites are listed here because this man said they never paid him, and I checked some things out, and I have every reason to believe that they in fact DID NOT pay him what he is owed. So, while most of the PTC’s are completely legitimate and pay their members as they are supposed to, those in the list below do not.
Remember – we do not actively link to crooked sites, so it’s up to you to put the links together properly if for some reason you want to look at a site:
